A storage mezzanine floor is an upper floor level which is constructed within the four walls of your existing warehouse space. A new single tier or multi-tier storage mezzanine can be designed to suit your needs.
A storage/production mezzanine floor unlike a retail or office mezzanine is designed to take larger loads imposed. On average a storage mezzanine will be designed to store 4.8kn loading but this can be increased to 7.2kn or even 9.6kn for much heavier items.
Structurally the mezzanine floor is made up of steel components which are assembled on-site making this a semi-permanent, but sustainable solution.

The components Used To Create a Nxt Level Mezzanine Are:
Steel columns – These stand vertically and are usually spaced in 4×3 Grid, but columns can be positioned to suit your needs if required at design stage.
Steel beams – Laid horizontally across the top of the steel columns, the steel beams give the structure its outer framework.
Steel Joists – Installed between steel beams, joists make up the structural infill required for decking.
Mezz Deck – 38mm high density chipboard laid over steel beams and joists to create your perfect storage area.
In-house Fabrication
As a designer with in-house fabrication Nxt level will produce all steel component parts of the structure to match your individual needs, before assembling the components on site. As a storage mezzanine floor, the structure will be designed and produced to the safe weight load bearing required for your operation whilst the internal corridor of communication between our design and engineering teams means we can offer more flexibility and limit constraints often associated with third party suppliers.
Showrooms Mezzanines Manufacturers
Installation of four Mezzanines Floors, Fire Rating and Air Conditioning to a new Showroom in Hayes, Middlesex. Together with the customer, we helped design the mezzanine floors to work with their existing building works ready for their offices and retail areas to be installed.
One of the mezzanine floors has been designed to take the load of two stationary cars for show. A further two were installed for office use with the final mezzanine floor being split into two cinema rooms. Reception areas and retail stands have been designed beneath the mezzanine floors to utilise space in this showroom. Wall mounted air conditioning has been installed across all office & cinema rooms with larger units to service the open showroom area.
